Become so hard in later levels, very challenging

Yes, the last few waves levels the difficulty curve skyrockets. It's not my best design work but at least it leads to dramatic deaths as you face overwhelming odds.

Quite nice

your feedback is quite delightful.

Nice game :) The walk controls seemed a bit slow for me, but playable

I am glad you enjoyed it!

Cool! Haven't played a web game like this since I was a kid, and I love it. really well done

I Really liked the game, played about 8 runs and it stayed compelling. The waves require different tactics, and the enemies each add something meaningful to the combat.

My favorite part is how the fire point being forward and to the right of your hitbox results in interesting gameplay. It made the environment more interesting by letting you take advantage of corners and cover.  It also made the base enemy much more of a threat because you are unable to shoot it if it gets to close.

My main complaints are that the gunfire sound effect is rather anemic, and the fact that you can fire indefinitely without penalty makes it optimal to just hold down M1 the whole game.

I only found one bug where the shielders would get stuck and not move from their spawn points now and then.

Overall I was very happy with the experience and will likely play more. I hope Fennec adds more content!

Yes I will check that out. Thank you for the information. I hope you enjoyed my little game.

Hi, did not expect such fast reply,  I've updated my comment with more information now that I'm done for the day. I hope TLC does well!

Thank you for such nice words. To be honest I probably won't do much development of this game other then bug fixing, but I am applying everything I have learned to some new game projects. I also published a little arcade racer called "Uncontrollable Racer" that you might be interested in.

I figured that would be the case. Ill give Uncontrollable Racer a try some time and keep an eye out for your future works. Good luck on your next project.
